The Bible places a high, high priority on prayer in the life of the believer. Thursday May 3 is the National Day of Prayer, and our church will open it's doors to the community for a time of prayer for our country. This is a time of deep struggle for many people, and uncertainty abounds everywhere we look. Let's celebrate our dependence on God, and our certainty in Him, as we join together for prayer. Meet us at 6:30 PM in the sanctuary on Thursday May 3.

Our annual Trunk or Treat kids event will be Wednesday, October 26 from 6:00-8:30 PM in the big field above the church. Kids are encouraged to wear their favorite non-scary costume. There will be free games and prizes, a hayride, and food available for purchase. Don't miss this year's fun!

The annual Hardball Classic and Homerun Derby was held at the athletic complex of Mt. Paran North this last Thursday through Sunday. Sewell Mill volunteers staffed many of the jobs necessary to run the tournament, and ran the Homerun Derby as a fundraiser for the House of Grace girls’ home in Thailand.
