The Bible places a high, high priority on prayer in the life of the believer. Thursday May 3 is the National Day of Prayer, and our church will open it's doors to the community for a time of prayer for our country. This is a time of deep struggle for many people, and uncertainty abounds everywhere we look. Let's celebrate our dependence on God, and our certainty in Him, as we join together for prayer. Meet us at 6:30 PM in the sanctuary on Thursday May 3.

Got a burden? We all do from time to time. If you would like to personally or anonymously share prayer concerns, you can send an email to PrayerTeam@SewellMill.org and that request will be gathered and prayed over. We have a group that meets each Friday morning in the student center café, and a great prayer time on Wednesday nights at 6:00 in the sanctuary. Joys shared are joys doubled, and burdens shared are burdens halved!

Pray for the men of our church as we embark on the second week of our 30-Day Adventure: 30 daily devotions that emphasize prayer and Bible study. The men are divided into several teams, and each team’s leader calls all the men on his team. Every day! But it’s for encouragement, not for nagging or anything like that. ;-)
